What's New in Version 3.0?
We’ve added several exciting new features!
Switch Years Feature:
Our brand-new Switch Years feature allows users to record, complete and export their Reflective Plan information for prior years in the CPD cycle – directly from the Toolkit.
Under the new CPD policy, CA(SA)s are required to complete and retain their Reflective Plans for a period of 3 calendar years should SAICA choose to check that member’s Reflective Plan to confirm CPD Compliance.
As per our Version 3.0 update, our users will now be able to record their completed Reflective Plan information for prior years in the recommended format and store all prior year CPD information in our secure online cloud, ready to export at the click of a button.
Plus, it doesn’t matter whether you have chosen an Annual or Monthly Subscription to the Toolkit – each prior year is a separate once-off in-app purchase, allowing all our users access to the new feature, regardless of subscription. All of our current users as of the V3 release will also receive a 10% discount off any prior years purchased as a token of appreciation for their support.
We are also offering 10 limited launch discount codes to the Switch Years feature to new users to celebrate the Version 3.0 update release!! These will apply on a first-come first-serve basis to new users that sign up after the V3 release.
FAIS CPD Requirements Integrated Into The Toolkit:
We know that a lot of our CA(SA) users also have additional CPD requirements, such as Registered Tax Practitioners, Business Rescue Practitioners and Registered Auditors – and our Toolkit already integrates and caters for all of these CPD requirements too.
As per FSCA requirements under FAIS, all Representatives and Key Individuals of any registered Financial Services Providers (FSPs) are required to do Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in the form of a certain number of CPD hours per annum – these are separate from SAICA CPD requirements.
The FAIS CPD requirements depend on the number of sub-Classes / Classes of Business served and evidence of hours completed must be recorded in a competence register – however the FSCA has not prescribed the form of the register to be maintained.
Our Version 3.0 update of the Reflective Plan Toolkit directly integrates the FAIS CPD policy requirements into our solution, allowing our users to automatically add pre-loaded Learning Areas with the FAIS requirements instantly in our Toolkit with just a single click.
We have also already assigned relevant competencies from a SAICA CPD Framework to the FAIS pre-loaded Learning Areas – allowing our CA(SA) users to seamlessly record CPD activities they complete for FAIS requirements for their SAICA Reflective Plans too.
